School Profile

Montour High School, located in the suburbs four miles west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, services the communities of Robinson Township, Kennedy Township, Pennsbury Village, Ingram and Thornburg Boros. The Principal and Assistant Principals are the instructional leaders for the professional staff, comprised of approximately sixty Teachers, three School Counselors, one Librarian/Media Specialist, and one School Nurse. Referred to as the Hilltop, Montour High School offers academics, athletics and extra-curricular activities to provide a productive and fulfilling education for all students.

Montour High School offers a comprehensive curriculum within an exemplary academic program that is focused on rigorous and relevant learning opportunities for all students. MHS offers Honors, College in the High School, and Advanced Placement courses in English, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Business Education and Music enabling students to graduate high school with post-secondary credits. 7:10 - 7:20 AM - Homeroom Note: Students arriving to their Homeroom after 7:10 AM are considered 'tardy to school.'
