The Montour High School National Honor Society is an student led organization that is focused on four qualifications: scholarship, leadership, community service and character.

Students are eligible to become inducted into the NHS after the 2nd nine weeks of their junior year if they prove that they encompass the previously stated four qualities.

Once a member of NHS, students attempt to reach out within and outside of the school community.  A few of the functions that NHS members have committed to doing are: blood drives, tutoring students, Adopt–a–Family, honor roll cards, Student of the Month and Extra-Effort awards, graduation signs for all seniors, tour guides for the first days of school.  NHS members are dedicated to serving the Montour Community in any way that they can while they continue to maintain an extraordinary GPA.

The Montour High School National Honor Society sponsor is Mrs. Allison Baldauff.
