The Montour High School Cure Finders was founded by Montour Alumna Molly Finn, Class of 2010.  In her endeavors, the club was founded to support those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Cure Finders has evolved over the last three years to “Raise awareness, Support Research and Give Hope” to those affected by various forms of cancer.  To accomplish these goals, the Montour Cure Finders have sponsored Pink Week during the month of October, Coaches for Cancer Basketball Game in the winter, Relay for Life in the spring, and the Race for the Cure on Mother’s Day.

All funds raised go toward the organizations sponsoring these events including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Cancer Society, Children’s Hospital and the Susan G. Komen Foundation here in Pittsburgh.

Student members will be involved in all the activities listed as well as making cancer bracelets and working tables at other school activities to help raise awareness about cancer.

The Montour High School Cure Finders sponsors are Mrs. Tina Frank and Mrs. Audra Wilson.
